Quantity Surveyor – London, Waterloo: Our growing London Office needs a new client-focused Senior Quantity Surveyor, with excellent prospects for progression. At Focus we believe in our people and have a first-class track record of supporting training and career development. This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join and strengthen our Quantity Surveying team.
You will undertake traditional Quantity Surveying duties, including Feasibility Studies, Cost Plans, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Employer’s Requirements, Valuations and Cost Reports, Final Accounts, and cashflows. Ideally you may have experience in one or more of the following but we will consider broader skillsets – it’s all about the right person! You will be part of a small but growing team, with real opportunity to shape your own career path.

- Delivering projects in the cultural, heritage and museums sector
- Delivering projects in the public sector for Local Authorities
- Knowledge of Life Cycle Costing, Renewable Technologies
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Services Surveying
- Dispute Resolution
You will be proactive, enthusiastic and ambitious, have good interpersonal skills, be keen to learn and to be challenged. Educated to a good standard, we expect you to have completed relevant professional training/degree, and either have attained or be working to attaining MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body and to be IT literate. You will be able to demonstrate strong technical delivery experience and have an ability to build long-term relationships. A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines will stand you in good stead.
