PICU contractors

Renovations are now underway for Lincolnshire’s first psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) as the first walls are demolished to make way for the county’s new bespoke ten-bedded male unit. Focus Consultants, have now commenced work at St George’s in Lincoln and are already making good progress to transform existing unused ward space on the site. Aerospace Bristol has celebrated a major milestone in the construction of the new home of Concorde, with a topping out ceremony for the museum’s Concorde hangar attended by HRH The Princess Royal. A museum celebrating the life and work of British artist William Heath Robinson – project managed by Focus Consultants - has officially opened in Pinner Memorial Park, north west London. The museum has created a permanent home for the Heath Robinson collection of original artwork and other artefacts and is the only museum dedicated to the artist, famed for his illustrations, cartoons and paintings. Focus Consultants is today celebrating the news that plans for a new railway museum in the UK are on track after working to secure millions of pounds worth of funding for the scheme. Lincolnshire Housing Development

Focus Consultants is part of the team which has completed the third phase of a housing development in Mablethorpe.  Focus provided Employer’s Agent, CDM Co-ordinator, and Code for Sustainable Homes consultation services for the Waterloo Housing Group scheme in Golf Road. The development of 120 houses has contributed to Waterloo Housing Group’s target to build more than 200 affordable homes in East Lindsey before April 2015. Focus Consultants has won a number of contracts to administer almost £5 million worth of planned improvements to homes run by asra Housing. Two promotions at Focus Consultants

Two internal promotions have been made in the Leicester office of Focus Consultants following growth in the firm’s building surveying department. James Garner has been appointed as senior consultant and continues to head up the traditional building surveying commissions. Chris Green has become a consultant, two and a half years after joining the company straight from university. Both James and Chris are based at the Princess Road East office of Focus.
