Focus Consultants appointed to Boston housing scheme - Copy

Focus Consultants has been appointed by the Waterloo Housing Group on a scheme to redevelop one of the few derelict sites left in Boston in Lincolnshire into affordable housing for local people. The company has been secured as Employer’s Agent, CDM Co-ordinator, and Party Wall Surveyor for the development in Blue Street, on the site of the former Pilgrim Foods depot. Focus Consultants has played a key role in confirming an £11.5million Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grant for the National Army Museum (NAM) in London. Focus Consultants has been instrumental in helping to deliver the upcoming Wedding Dresses 1775-2014 exhibition at the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum in London (V&A). Focus was appointed project manager, cost consultant and CDM co-ordinator for the temporary exhibition which will explore the changes in wedding fashions over the past 200 years. The exhibition will open from May 3rd 2014 until March 15th 2015. Focus Consultants has made two senior internal promotions as the company continues to expand. Jason Redfearn has been appointed as a Partner of the business, while surveyor Craig Gould has been promoted to an Associate. Jason, who leads the Energy Carbon Sustainability team at Focus, is based in the Leicester office in Princess Road East. A £250 cheque has been handed to charity following an annual golf day staged by Focus Consultants. Focus. which specialises in funding and economic development, project management, chartered surveying and energy, staged the event at Belton Park Golf Club in Grantham. A scout group has been given somewhere safe to store their equipment after Focus Consultants and Linden Homes teamed up to help. Employees at Focus have been working with the 30th Lincoln 1st Bassingham Scout Group to help them find funding to provide a new equipment store to replace old buildings which have to be demolished at their headquarters in Bassingham, near Brant Broughton.
