Focus worked with the Bristol Aero Collection Trust to secure £4.7 million of HLF Round 1 funding towards the £13.6 million proposals at Filton Airfield, north of Bristol, to create a permanent home for Concorde, the world’s first supersonic passenger transport aircraft, which has rested there for 10 years since its last flight.
The project also refurbished a listed World War I Hangars and transformed these into a first class heritage museum with learning suites, archives and workshops.
