Focus was appointed for the public realm works in the centre of Stamford, Lincolnshire.
These transformed two main public spaces – Red Lion Square and Sheep Market – into high quality safer and more attractive gateways from the main car parks, bus and train stations to the town centre. The public spaces were paved with York stone, in keeping with the town’s historic fabric, with public art from internationally renowned artists.
The project was constructed in three phases at a cost of £1.5 million over two and a half years.
