Focus have gained certification to the 2015 standards for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Having previously been certificated to the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 standards, we were successful in achieving the transition to the 2015 standards in our Nottingham, Leicester and Lincolnshire offices.

Our certification further underpins our existing quality and environmental systems, processes and procedures which have proven very effective in ensuring we deliver the quality of service expected by our Clients and conduct our operations in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Of added value and benefit, both to our Customers and our own operation, is the expertise and technical knowledge of our in-house Energy Team. They are able to advise with minimising the aspects and impacts of our operation on the environment and maximising the sustainability of our projects through specification choice, whole life cost and building design.

Focus were assessed by the EQA (European Quality Assurance) in May 2018 for both standards under the UKAS scheme.  The EQA IRCA Lead Auditor commented “Focus preparation for transition is the best I have seen so far in its documentation, staff briefing notes, auditing and top management involvement and drive. Transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 is recommended”.

Jason Redfearn, Partner at Focus added “we are really pleased to have achieved this certification which confirms our commitment to complying with industry best practice, all relevant legislation and to continual improvement.
