Focus was appointed as project managers for the Great Expectations redevelopment project to establish the Charles Dickens Museum as Britain’s most accessible and inspirational literary house museum.
The project has increased the available display space and introduced new state-of-the-art display and storage facilities to protect the collections for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
In an adjacent property, the Museum has opened a new visitor centre with study facilities and teaching rooms as well as climate-controlled spaces for the National Dickens Library and Archive.
The project was the recipient of HLF Round Two funding.
