The multi-phase, 350-unit turnkey project is a mixture of houses, apartments, commercial space, and new school with extensive external landscaping. Design and construction of the scheme is ongoing, with the enabling works, Phase 1 and Phase 2 completed, Phase 3 well on its way and Phase 4 to commence shortly. Our role has encompassed varied services on each of these elements, delivering solutions spanning from design appraisal to handover.
The project has several stakeholders including Nottingham University and Blueprint. Focus are providing a wide range of consultancy services, and we have been heavily involved with the design of the homes and apartments on this unique site, within the ASSESS team. We have undertaken a fundamental review of the fabric performance, including evaluation of insulation options to meet the client’s aspiration of the zero carbon 2016 FEE targets.
The long term relationship with Blueprint has enabled us to build efficiencies into the process to maintain the high quality Blueprint are known for in their developments, ensuring design aspirations are achieved.
