Understanding the role of buildings and their impact on the environment underpins the services of our Sustainability & Environment team. Developed since 2002, this core service is based on internationally recognised assessment methods such as BREEAM, LEED and Passivhaus.

As the UK transitions to Net Zero Carbon and grid decarbonisation increases the significance of embodied carbon, we can provide Life Cycle Assessment advice which can include carbon offsetting approaches. We can also provide this advice in tandem with Cost, so working with our wider team we consider not only the LCA of a project, but the Life Cycle Cost, vital for decision making.
