I started with Focus in May 2021 and was delighted to be promoted to senior level in December 2023.

As a Sustainability Consultant in a busy team, I am fortunate to be involved in many different types of projects from large-scale, new-build residential schemes, to smaller, more bespoke housing developments.

As part of my role, I very much enjoy working across a range of different services, including both residential SAP and non-residential SBEM calculations, Simplified and Dynamic Overheating Assessments and Energy Statements, utilising my skills to provide up-to-date advice for schemes with different aims; from achieving Part L building regulations targets to more ambitious sustainability aspirations such as net zero and Passivhaus.

I am particularly proud to be working on a number of schemes reviewing cutting edge technology that seeks to reduce running costs for residents and make their buildings more sustainable, whilst also meeting Part L and Part O targets.

Working at Focus provides me with opportunities to work with clients across different sectors and learn new skills, and I find it especially rewarding to work in a growing team at the forefront of a fast-paced industry where sustainability targets are constantly evolving.
