We are thrilled to share that Senior Consultant, George Jones was named Runner-Up for the Social Value Champion Award at Base 51’s Power in Partnerships Awards. This well-deserved recognition highlights George’s dedication to making a difference—not just within Focus but also in the wider community.

George was nominated by our Operations Manager, Sonja, for always being the first to step forward for charitable and social value initiatives at Focus. His dedication and enthusiasm were particularly instrumental in the success of our team’s Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, which raised an amazing £6,000.

Sharing her thoughts on why she put George forward for the award Sonja comments “We are acutely aware of the importance of supporting charitable and community ventures locally and it was a genuine pleasure to nominate George as a key player following our fundraising efforts last year for Base51. He always lends passion and strong teamworking skills to our organised events and it is safe to say that for future similar charity ventures, George is sure to contribute his efforts again.”
