Since 1994, Focus has a developed an enviable track record of successfully delivering a wide range of projects within the healthcare sector, from GP practices and care homes to pharmaceutical facilities and major hospital expansion projects. As part of our 30 Years in 30 Days campaign, partner Eleanor Clarke highlights our recent work with Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust which reflects this experience and because the team are excited at the opportunity to continue working with the Trust as they look to improve their on-site facilities to meet growing demand.

Focus have been appointed to provide comprehensive Project Management services, including NEC PM, for the construction of two new build elective theatres and associated accommodation. With a deep understanding of the complexities involved in healthcare developments, we are reviewing project designs and specifications to identify gaps, determining resolutions, and optimising procurement strategies for cost-effectiveness and deliverability.

Our role also included monitoring the master program to ensure realistic timelines, implementing robust financial reporting mechanisms, and delivering monthly dashboard reports with proactive risk identification and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Further appointments at the site include converting existing ward accommodation into a Urology Investigation Unit, leading a feasibility study to explore options for an under-utilized area, and providing support for the P23 processes in the redevelopment of the Urgent Emergency Care Centre.
