Since joining Focus in 2003, Jason’s career has been defined by his passion for sustainability within the built environment, driving innovation and spearheading low and zero carbon strategies. His leadership led to the creation of ASSESS, Focus’s independent Sustainability division in 2008, a pivotal moment in the company’s growth.

As Managing Partner, Jason’s commitment to excellence is evident in everything we do, and he continues to inspire both our clients and the team with his forward-thinking approach to climate change and his ability to empower those around him.

BACKGROUND:

Jason’s passion for sustainability within the Built Environment enables him to collaborate with a wide range of clients driving low and zero carbon strategies. Since joining Focus in 2003 Jason has been instrumental in developing Focus’s Sustainability services across the East Midlands. His leadership led to the creation of an independent Sustainability division by 2008.

Now as Managing Partner, Jason brings that same drive in the core delivery of Focus’s services, making it a thriving, busy, multi-disciplinary consultancy that continues to pride itself on achieving the best service it can for its client’s.

• Memorable Moments: There are many, the creation of ECS the forerunner to ASSESS, becoming a Partner, navigating the pandemic, all of it.
• Future Vision: Technological advances will continue to influence all of us, the progress of change over the last 20 years has been rapid and the Built Environment will need to keep pace. I believe that we can embrace the opportunities these advances present, keep it exciting and continue to attract talented people to help shape our world.
• Favourite Focus Day: It’s too difficult to choose, the 3 Peaks Challenge was definitely a recent highlight.
• Why I love working at Focus: It goes back to my motivation; we are at the forefront of climate change and the built environment, so we solve complex problems for our clients, and I love that challenge. Throughout its 30 years, Focus remains a place where we nurture people’s talent, their ideas and match those with the services we deliver, we do our upmost to achieve that, which for me makes it a great place to be.
