BRE has officially launched BREEAM UK New Construction: Version 7 (NC V7)—a significant update that strengthens the scheme’s alignment with net zero, environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities, and future-ready design. The new version places increased focus on whole life carbon, operational performance, biodiversity net gain, climate resilience, occupant wellbeing, and integration with ESG reporting frameworks.
