Focus worked with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) on implementing their new funding programmes, providing additional resource to the organisation whilst new personnel were recruited to the new Funding Team. Our primary role was to support applicants with their second-round applications to the Structured and Flexible Funds.
The role undertaken by Focus involved:
- Understanding the programme / project that is requiring funding
- Understanding the criteria by which applications will be assessed
- Understanding the Monitoring and Evaluation framework for each programme
- Differentiate between ‘filling-in’ the Second Stage Application on the behalf of applicant and supporting and guiding applicants with completing applications in the Second Stage application
- Providing a one-to-one meeting, and follow-up support with telephone calls/ emails for the completion of Second Stage Application
- For successful Second Stage Applications, providing one-to-one meetings to complete Funding Agreements and follow-up calls/ emails to ensure timely completion of funding agreements.
