Hughenden Gardens Village is a retirement village just to the north of High Wycombe town centre and features 105 one-bedroom and 155 two-bedroom apartments. Apartments are available for purchase, shared ownership and rent and a care service will be available on site for residents who need support to live independently. The development also includes a village centre, with a range of health and leisure facilities including a bar and bistro, village hall, IT suite, hair and beauty salon, gym and shop
The Energy and Sustainability Team advised, supported and assessed a range of related aspects of the project, including BREEAM Assessment for which a ‘Very Good’ rating was achieved, plus advice on compliance with Building Regulations Part L1a and Part L2a.
“This new ExtraCare village is a key part of the council’s vision to bring people and jobs back to this site”
Cllr Steve Broadbent
Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration
