Focus were employed by the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) to undertake due diligence appraisals for ten projects being considered as part OxLEP’s Local Growth Fund Round 3. The approach involved assessing the Strategic Package of project developed by partners to take up their SLGF allocation, including proposals to develop the rural economy, test and implement autonomous vehicle and new space technologies.
The project appraisals followed Treasury Green Book Business Case Models looking at the strategic, economic, commercial, financial and management case. Specifically, the due diligence work considered: strategic fit, local fit, completeness and accuracy, economic impact, value for money, deliverability, credibility, risk and realism and evaluation arrangements.
