Focus worked with Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) to undertake a mid-term evaluation of their Local Growth Fund (LGF) to establish what has been the impact to date of the investment; what difference has the investment made on the relevant Transformational Priorities as set out in the Strategic Economic Plan and what difference can be anticipated by the end of the programme.
This work included a desk top project review of all LGF funded projects, face to face and telephone consultations with LGF beneficiaries, case studies, impact analysis, an assessment of return on investment assessments and a series of recommendations for implementing the remainder of the programme.
Focus also undertook a thematic evaluation and impact assessment of 21 completed or near completed projects funded through the D2N2 Local Growth Fund programme and were appointed by the Sheffield City Region Mayoral Combined Authority to complete the mid-term evaluation of its £363m Local Growth Fund Programme.
