Focus were appointed by the Waterloo Housing Group to take forward Phases 1 and 2 of a new development at Broadfield Lane in Boston, delivering 120 houses for social rent and home buy.
The project was welcomed by residents and the local authority as it regenerated disused and overgrown scrub land, complementing adjacent neighbourhoods. Focus carried out an initial site appraisal to highlight services and potential obstructions, and to develop storm water drainage solutions acceptable to AWA, the Environment Agency and our client. Houses were built in traditional masonry construction with tiled roofs, uPVC windows, composite high security external doors and concrete floors. The shared ownership unit specification comprised of upgraded modern kitchens, wall tiling, decorations and flooring in order to attract first time buyers.
Focus also ensured project continuity through procurement strategies and enabling works, to continue our involvement with a further phase of 33 houses.
