Focus were appointed for the full design, management and delivery of the anti-ligature refurbishment works across six sites. The works entailed an initial assessment and survey of each room to establish ligature/risk areas and design an anti-ligature solution to meet the needs of the Trust and its occupants. Focus worked with approved specialist suppliers of equipment and installers to ensure the areas in question were completely ligature free.
In addition, Focus have been appointed for various reconfigurations and refurbishments of facilities to provide further consulting rooms and staff accommodation including a complete remodel and upgrade to transform facilities and bring in line with current HTM/HBN standard.
The projects have also comprised new purpose built seclusion units designed to accommodate a de-escalation room, seclusion, and ensuite, amongst other facilities along with a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the existing site at Carholme Court in Lincoln. The project provided ten ensuite bedrooms, communal, therapeutic, clinical and administrative spaces (lounges, games room, gym and gardens) and staff areas.
