Focus were commissioned to undertake the project management of the implementation of the priority projects under Phase 1 of the Glossop Vision programme which received funding from the Government’s pilot Liveability programme. The physical works include environmental improvements to the public realm in the town centre and civil engineering works to the town’s park. We were also appointed as Quantity Surveyor and CDM Co-ordinator for the design, procurement and delivery phases to provide a Multi-Discipline Design Team service.
The commission included works to Howard Town and Woods Mills Complex, the Town Centre Core and Harehills Park. A further element of the Glossop Vision works was the improvements to Manor Park, which included refurbishment of a café building, children’s/youth play areas, together with signage and car park works.
Focus were also appointed to provide Programme Management support services to High Peak Borough Council for the delivery of a range of capital projects within their area of operation.
